We’re looking for a Produce Manager who is passionate about produce, leadership, and operational excellence.
Job Summary: The Produce Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the produce department, including inventory management, merchandising, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with food safety and company standards. This role plays a vital part in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of produce clerks.
Manage product ordering, receiving, rotation, and inventory to minimize shrink and waste.
Ensure fresh, high-quality produce is well-stocked, attractively merchandised, and accurately priced.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe department at all times.
Schedule department staff and monitor labor to stay within budget.
Build strong relationships with vendors and store leadership.
Respond to customer questions and feedback with professionalism and product knowledge.
Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
